What is the Tasks in Mylot?

Hey everyone! I've just came back to mylot and started to discuss and respond again after few weeks I hadn't entered mylot at all. I've noticed there is something new wwhich is called "tasks". I didn't really understand what is it mean? what can I do there? I would like to hear a little bit about that. Thanks.
