computer illiteracy:please help

about a month back,while mylotting/surfing the web,i got a blue screen of death.then days later my computer conked out.i had to call my system adminsterrr and he did the formatting.does anybody here know what is blue screen of death and does it have any relation with my computer conking off??

when i had explorer i always encountered this dark or blue screen so glad hubby has mood to fix my computer now i am using fire fox and so far so good no more problems

Sorry dear I can't even help you with that problem. My new computer at home just crashed too. It was not even a month old but already invaded by Recycler virus at system 32. Now it is logging off automatically can could not be used at all. I have to call the Technicians and that of cost means spending some amount. Hahhhh!
