Men or Women - who makes the kitchen messy?

Men & Women both do the cooking. But who makes the kitchen messy after cooking? In my home it's me. But who makes it cleaner then, it's again me. My wife? She cooks fairly neat, but leaves it uncleaned. How about your home?

Lol. It is a nice question. At my home only my mom and sister cooked and none of the men cooked. Now, my husband keeps the kitchen more cleaner than me. I won't even leave the kitchen messy because he doesn't like that. So, I don't know...I think it depends on the person and not men or women.

Men! In my home at least. :) My dad is a great cook but can leave the kitchen a great mess after. LOL. All the bowls, knives, pans would clutter the sink or the counter. You'd almost know who prepared the meals once you checked the status of the kitchen. Meanwhile, me and my mom just like the others here make it a point to wash the utensils we used while waiting for the dish to simmer or something. It's called multi-tasking.

It's not a matter of gender. It's a matter of organization. I've worked in the kitchen with some men that I'd like to sweep up with all the mess they made, but I've worked with some women that made me feel the same way.(I used to cook in a restaurant). When my kids were growing up, whoever cooked supper didn't have to wash dishes, but I had to make it clear that while they were cooking that they had to clean up the cooking mess, not leave that for the dishwasher. 2 sons and 3 daughters are about the same when it comes to making and clearing up messes.

I dont know how to cook , what to cook.So I am not responsible for the mess in the kitchen. My wife is OK when it comes to maintaining the kitchen clean as she washes the utensils as soon as she prepares the food.

We both cook in my home but he tends to leave it messy. I clean while I'm cooking, you know like wash the bowls or pans I'm finished using as I'm cooking but he will leave everything laying around that he's used including paper and trash! I am the one that cleans it up after I cook or he cooks!

My fiance and I do not cook in the way that you may cook. We do not know how to cook but can cook the basics, between the two of us I think we could throw down a meal. We both share in the responsibilities of reheating and etc, and both do our own part when it comes to returning to the kitchen to clean.

I cook most of the time, even when I was working full-time. I would not allow him to clean up; he made it even worse. The last time he did the cleaning up, the whole sink and washing area was wet...I had to clear up and dry the whole place! So I would rather do the cleaning up myself!

I feel that women do not keep their kitchen clean. As they do multi tasks while cooking , they tend to leave things as such. On the other hand , men will be patient and will keep the things in the kitchen organised. I also have a thought that men can cook more deliciously than women .
