Canon or Sony Digital Camera

Canon is much better in quality than the Sony because i tested it already i bought canon digital camera last year and it takes pictures clearly with 7.8 mega pixels only. even a single move you want to save it, you will have it. i plan to buy another one may be next year and i will buy canon again. so if i were you i will buy the canon.

Canon and Nikon are my favorite brands. Sony is comparatively new to Still Cameras. Their Video Cameras great!!! I bought Sony Cybershot H9 one year back. I was that happy with the picture quality.Now i moved to DSLR with Nikon D40. I am very happy with the images. I will suggest you to go for Nikon Digital Cameras. I have used it before also. I had Coolpix 4100. And my friends have canon cameras. I find Nikon is more user friendly.

i've been using sony a200 for about six months now, because it's a DIgital SLR i have a lot of control however the images are soft compare to that of Canon's. i used to use Canon S3IS digital camera, to be honest i love canon's sharp images although it's only 6mp than to my new dslr with 10.2mp. you should consider what Kind of camera you're looking for, compact or SLR. it really depends on your need, or want, or budget. sony dslr's are pretty cheap sometimes they come out in bundles. canons and nikons are pretty expensive but worth every penny.

If you bough a Canon then you made the right choice as far as I am concerned.

As a long time camera owner, I have to recommend Canon. It's an extremely reliable brand, one I've used for years now, and have had now problem with it. It's easy to use and has better options that Sony. There are more models with Canon than with Sony.
