Any home remedies for persistent eczema?

Hi, I've been having this patch of eczema near my knee that has been so persistent that it refuses to go. It has been a problem for over a year now. My doctor has given up as she says that she has tried every possible ointment and it still refuses to vanish. It gets itchy and flares up every other day. Are there any home remedies that any of you can recommend please? would really appreciate it
