Where would you like to travel this summer?

This summer, I am planning a visit to LA if I am able to save enough money before then. The last time I was there, I thoroughly enjoyed the sun and fun. If you had the time and money this summer, where would you like to go? Would it be a beach resort, or somewhere cooler?

I've been living in Alamo, South Texas since last October, and I'm getting ready to go back to Ontario Canada next week. Its a 2086 mile trip which takes 4 days, driving. I don't mind the drive because my wife spells me off. The sad part is we are used to warm weather and flowering trees and shrubs here in Texas, and as we travel back each day brings more winter-like conditions. We usually run into snow before we get to our farm in Central Southern Ontario. We will stay there and work all summer before traveling back to our winter home in Texas next fall.

farm on CS Ontario... sounds like a lot of fun.. what do you grow there? must be hard work, especially when it is outdoors in summer?

I have 400 colonies of Honeybees in 13 different locations. I must visit and check each colony once every 2 weeks from mid April to mid Oct. This includes taking the extra honey from each hive twice in the season. Its a lot of work but its a fascinating job, which I love.

I am planning to go back to Bangkok and buy some more plants for my collection. I fell in love with Bangkok. The city is so warm. The food is heaven on the street. People are smiling. It has so much to offer. I stayed there for a very short time. I would love to stay there longer to visit more temples and gardens. The beaches too I wasn't able to go across cities.

BKK is lovely. the tuktuks are fun, although everyone seems to be complaining about them. adore the culture and the food.
just how long is the flight from Manila to Bangkok?

i would love to visit bohol. i heard there are lots of beautiful spots, beaches and etc. Hopefully this end of the month i can go there with my friends and then we will go to cebu afterwards for an interview.
here in philippines we have lots of beautiful destinations to visit. you just need to look around. here are some of the commonly visited places (any order)
1. boracay

3. bagiuo

5. cebu
6. pearl farm (davao)
7. puerto princesa
8. bohol

Anywhere where there is a beach or a mountain. I want to get away from the heat. It doesn't have to be expensive since everybody is trying to save something.

thats cool nympha. you are right. it doesnt have to be fancy.. just a break from the routine.. to recharge. it does get very hot in the Philippines in summer

This summer my fiancee and I will be getting married and going on our honeymoon!! So my honeymoon will be my summer vacation this year. We are headed to some Florida beaches, I can't wait. A perfect summer vacation to me is at the beach. I love the relaxation and the sun.
