Could homeopathy help chronic conditions?

A friend of mine swears by the effectiveness of homeopathy. She has treated herself successfully for asthma, and claims that it is the safest and most sureshot way to cure illnesses.
I am wondering if any of you have tried it for other chronic conditions like eczema or other skin conditions? Was it useful? How long did it take you to see results?

Its true as to what your friend said about the effectiveness of homeopathy. Once my son suffered from eczema on his legs and I took him to a homeo clinic. At first after taking some globules his skin became worse (aggravation). That was the time when someone cannot tolerate the aggravational period will stop taking homeopathic medicine. But after 10 days to two weeks time my son had completely recover from his eczema.

thank you, panariff. that was useful. it is for an eczema that i was enquring. i will try it out with my local homeopath. thanks again for sharing
