Starting out as just a hope to create more jobs, Sole Rebels has come a long way! Founded in Zenabwok, founder Bethlehem Alemu just wanted to create some jobs for her village. She, her husband and brother in law launched their small shoe making venture four years ago. Now, they employ over 140 workers, hand sewing eco-friendly, all organic and very well designed shoes. Noted for their adherence to fair trade ideals, Sole Rebels is pro-equality, ensures the healthiest working conditions, pays substantial wages and limits their employees work loads.
