I know it's a long way from November, but I'm curious if people still believe in these things despite the onset of technology. I for one heard a lot of stories back when I was a child. Our maid has a lot of scary stories and they still haunt me to this day. She was from Siquijor and she told us that all of the things they say about that island is true. It is indeed a place with strange stuff going on around it.
I know the scientific community will always prove it false, but I do have a feeling that some things can't be explained by science.
Do you believe in aswang as well?

As I do believe in the presence of a mighty being whom no one had ever seen, I also believe in the existence of other creatures in the spiritual world. I don't think the modern science and technology eliminated their existence nor were able to prove that aswangs and similar creatures are just figment of the imagination.
The Bible explained that when Lucifer was vanished from heaven, he was thrown down to the world with all his followers. Some Bible scholars explained that these spiritual beings who are with Lucifer were the ones making those creepy appearances.

Bible doesn't define spritual beings under Lucifer as with Tiyanak, Manananggal, Tikbalang, nyahahahaha
they are very far to compare to Lucifer....
since lucifer is an angel, lucifer doesn't have wings, or sharp claws or ugly....
and Lucifer or bad angels are handsome and not ugly since that is their main weapon in order for the teens to tempted.....
Jesus Christ face looked ugly as according to Bible Jesus described as husky....
another reasons why people doesn't immediately believe that he is god because he is ugly and having no wealth, gold or money but only words came from His Father in heaven.....

I grew up in a City where such thing as 'Aswang', 'Maligno', 'Multo' and the such are not really much cared about. Like you know, people mostly don't believe.. However, I am a fan of Philippine horror movies, especially the 80s and 90s, like the 'Shake, Rattle, and Roll', 'The Gwapings', 'Kwento ni Lola Basyang', etc. and I like to watch and hear these movies and stories. When I was younger, I tend to really believe in such thing, and always get to frightened myself at night especially before going to bed. I can't say that I believe nor I don't cause it may be or may be not, that there are actually these kind of creatures out there. But would actually still like to hear those creepy stories once in awhile. It would be fun.

Hello inkyuboz! I actually don't believe aswangs or other living creatures other than human and animals. I heard a lot about it especially when I was young and even believed about it. But I have tried to live in a small province and so far, I never encountered one. For me, it is only tales and will believe it's tales.

I do. O here's a trivia for you mga kababayan ko, more of a story din actually.
Whenever there's a ruckus or any chaotic activity in the, our soldiers are the ones who'll be sent to promote peace on that place.
Besides those kinds of missions, one kind you wouldn't believe is that some of them are being ordered to go to places wherein the bad guys causing tuckus are aswangs or other malignos. Yes. I said it, that's right.
You may not believe it but its true. Especially in places in Iloilo if I recall correctly.
Mag pakwento kayo sa mga PMA-yers kasi marami sakanila may mga firsthand exerience tlga sa mga ganto. No joke. God bless.
