interesting topic.
Perhaps it is caused by tradition. It is quite popular but I think it should be stopped.
However, due to the emotional attachment of people involved, it may cause a conflict in their beliefs...
Perhaps, the saying applies: "What is popular is not always right."
People may love to see it but the it seems it is not right.
Also there is a saying: "What is right is not always popular."
People would do best by fasting, praying and doing works of charity...
Unfortunately dong the best thing may not "look" so appealing d b? Cheers.
