I have heard alot about twilight and still havent read any of it. Nor seen the movie. Last night my boyfriend worked and said that the place was goin crazy with tons of ppl buying the movie. So my question is, do you prefer to read the books or watch the twilight movie??

The book is way better. A lot of good parts in the book were deleted in the movie and I don't think you can fully appreciate the movie if you haven't read the book. Anyway, that's just my opinion. :)

i read all the books before seeing the movie. it totally helps because you are able to link pieces in the book that the movie has left out. the movie was good and very entertaining, but i still like the book better

Definitely the book! I loved the movie, but I am glad I read the book first. The story was much better in the book than in the movie.

I always choose movie. I am too lazy to read novels. ^_^

The book, 100%. I was actually a pretty huge fan of the books until the movie came out, it kind of killed the whole thing for me - thousands of teeny boppers drooling over Robert Pattinson will do that to you, though.

I haven't read the book yet, but I found that the movie is very entertaining, it's very interesting to imagine a vampire's world. The book looks thick, does that mean the movie skipped a lot details? Anyway, my friends told me that the books are written in a very romantic way and is worth reading, I think I will read it soon.

Based from the Twilight movie, I definitely prefer the book! :) I was actually looking forward to the film before and when I was finally able to watch it, I was very disappointed. It felt like it didn't really give justice to the book. The acting performance was kind'a blah. I only loved it because I like Robert Pattinson. Well, I do hope the next Twilight film would be much better. Besides, they'll have a different director so that could mean change. Not giving up hope on the film version. :)

It's more fun and easy to watch the movie, reading is only good if you are fond of reading novels.

I'm definitely glad I read the book first. I enjoyed the book more than the movie. I liked what I had in my imagination while reading the book, lol. And well the movie just didn't match up exactly with what i had imagined in the book. I will probably still buy the movie though, eventually. I did enjoy both! I'm looking forward to the 3rd book coming out in paperback so that I can buy it and then the 2nd movie.

I think they were both great, but the book has more detail. I visualized the book very well & some things shocked me in the movie.
