Ok this discussion is not meant for the people from India, Australia, Newzealand, England, South Africa, Jamaica, Pakistan, Srilanka, Bangladesh.
I want to know how popular this guy is to the world.
If you know who is Sachin Tendulkar let me know how you came to know about this person.

I am not from those country that you have mentioned , but I lived in India for almost a year and actually saw the parade when India won the championship for 20-20. I think he is the Captain of the cricket team in India for one day match and Dhoni is the captain of 20-20. I don't know much apart from this and I also don't know much about cricket.

Looks like only people related to india in some way knows about sachin, once cricket gets globalized people might know more about him... btw who has time for all these

btw... he is not the captain of the indian cricket team... he was not very successful as a captain so he resigned from that job. the guy stated playing since 14 and is expected to continue till 40... very rare in any sporting career.

HI friend,
Sachin tendulkar is from india team side and very great batsman in the
world.He recorded so many records in his life.
Sachin have joined in cricket at the age of 15 years old on that time he played
so many formats like both in test and ODI matches.
He is a great opener batsman with ganguly.
Recently he scored in both test and ODI matches in new zealand never scored a century in new zealand.
Sachin Tendulkar is my favorite batsman and great batsman in the
world and no one can beat his records.
