Hi janyen , We live in a beach town, with 3 big dogs, and my husband does construction jobs . You can imagine how nasty our car gets. Usually you have to move tools , and sweep sand and hair off the seat to sit down. Luckly we have to pick people up from the airport often , and that's when hubby cleans the car out .
Our car gets cleaned out each time someone arives at the airport to be picked up.

i used to clean the car very often when it was new...but now whats the point cleaning it.....whatever you do...you can't make it look nice and new ......keep cleaning it all day but it won't happen...
My advice ...why waste your energy trying to achieve something you can't get....let it stink...you'll get used to it..

OH! Clean my car? Hmm... Well, I don't do it often enough, and I guess I'm lucky that I'm friends with my ex-husband who is a little OCD and can't stand my vehicle to be dirty. So cleans it for me. Also, my brother owns a detail shop but that doesn't make me get it cleaned any faster. I am the worst in the winter. I live in Ohio,I'm a single mother of 6, so you can imagine how they get my Explorer looking on the inside. And the snow and salt really make the outside look like crap. Did I mention that my Explorer is white? Oh yeah, imagine the dirt and grime. But when I do pick up the inside, it's when I can no longer take it. So maybe, once every other month. I know it sounds bad. And when I do that, I have to turn the truck on and blast the heat. As far as the other seasons, well that's when I just sit back and call up the ex-hubby to do it. I'm lazy and spoiled I guess when it comes to that. But, I do my own oil changes, change my own tires, alternator and belt, and a few other minor mechanical things. So, I think I can slack a little on the tidiness of the vehicle.

During the winter is probably when I neglect my car the most. It's just so hard to get a day where it's nice enough to want to run it thru a wash, or try and get the inside cleaned out. Now that spring is right around the corner (well, officially forus it started 2 days ago), I have already cleaned most of the miscellaneous garbage that had collected, and over the next couple days, I'm going to run it thru a wash. Yay spring!

I typically clean my car more in the summer. During the winter I'm lucky if it gets cleaned once. In the summer I love keeping my car clean! I tend to go to the car wash more often and when I'm home at my parent's house I give it a good cleaning with all of the car cleaning stuff my dad has.
