i think this is necessary, right now, with almost 4 months of being active working with my computer for online money making with an average of 3 hours a day i experience some difficulties especially with my eye.. now, i lowered down the brightness and contrast of my screen at the same time i use colored eyeglasses for some extra protection.. the radiation from the computer screen is not good for the eyes.. whenever i dont use eyeglasses my eyes feel very heavy and its like you need to rest your eye after an hour.

I have this problem with my eyes since I was young. That may be because I used to read in bed while lying on my right/left side when I was a teenager.I only regarded it a serious problem last week.

Is that an effect when you have too much exposure in your pc or you got that in other cases? If that is so, i think i need to start to take care of my eyes. Thanks.

I do wear my shades at night when i'm on the computer. Nobody would see me looking stupid since nobody's going to visit our house during night time. My mom and sister just wouldn't mind me wearing shades at night and at home. I need it for protection regardless if it does deflect dangerous rays from my eyes or not. My sister's using her eyeglasses but it's for correction. They're not tinted too!

How long have you work in your computer with 2-3 hours a day? I think 30 minutes direct exposure of the eye is already too much.

I used to wash eyes after each hour or two.
and moves away from my pc after each 1/2 hour. and does some eye exercises
all these can keep u away from eye harms through computer.

Thanks for sharing your ways. It could help some people that dont want to wear glasses whenever they work in the front of their pc. But i really dont take a break when im already in the front of the pc, so the best thing to me is to wear some eyeglasses.

Its better to use anti glare glasses which supresses harmful radiation coming from the computer screen and i am an IT professional, not only i work on computer at office 8 hrs a day but also at home to do some online work and every time i sit in front of system - i wear this CRIZAL ANTI GLARE GLASSES and i sometimes continuously sit for at least 6 hrs with out itching my eyes. This pair is really good and working for me and apart from that its better to do some eye exercises like blinking your eyes after every half hr and clean your eyes after you travel because the dust particles might accumulate inside.

Thats very nice! Takes for the suggestion, since i think that anti glare eyeglasses are more expensive than any other type of eyeglasses, i just try to keep that info with me until i could buy one. Lol.
