Special Privileges born to the right and Subhumans or Slaves

Privileges given to special people for what ever reason create an imbalance to all societies. If we give special attention to one group of people we are then dividing our citizens into divisions allowing for privileges to be acquired in a manner that is not consistent with any rule of laws.
Just because you go to school and further your education through college courses and you have the ability to sit in an office and play with words or numbers or talk to people selling medicines and therapeutic ways of healing their bodies or minds does not make you far superior to the guy that you call out to repair the flat tire on your car. We all have a need to survive and while some are skilled with their hands to make repairs to keep your wheels turning or to bring the materials for your next addition we all are critical to the survival of our society. One is not superior to the other.
We are at a pivotal time in our history and how we deal with each other in support of the little guy will determine the ability of our role to survive as a nation and a world at peace. What we do will lead our world by example for others to follow, either we are worth the investment or we are doomed to be destroyed if not by human forces then by global forces. We need to fix the errors of our ways and make right the wrongs of the past.
Jesus was born out of wedlock The Jewish/Hebrew people of the past would not recognize the authority of Jesus as a teacher because Jesus was a second rate citizen. They prevented any writings of Jesus from being accepted into the archives and subsequently had Jesus put to death expunging all record of the existence of Jesus. But Jesus was remembered and written about by many people even in the Islamic/Muslim cultures. The religious wars are raging because the Jewish/Hebrew people choose a path of prejudice against those people born out of wedlock.
And today the same saga continues in our court systems and through our churches. Every child of a single mother could become a victim of abuse if the church was allowed to use the courts as the courts have been used against me.
Am I not a human? Do I deserve the same rights and protections as every other person?
Maybe I'm a second class citizen because of my Parents conception of a child before they were married?
I think it is well time that the abuse and punishment of people, because of the parents promiscuity, comes to an end.
The meek shall inherit the Earth. I take that to mean; that people who seek the path to restrict or profit from the fortunes will not gain their reward on Earth or in Heaven.
I'm proud to be meek and frugal, seeking a path of peace.

You make some great points here. Sometimes, it's impossible for us to be understanding--I, for one, have my own prejudices--I find it hard to be sympathetic to those who've not tried, whether through college/reading a book or three/or interacting with others, to improve themselves intellectually... I'm also, myself, treated as an inferior, simply for being "nothing more than a" retail clerk.
The world is getting, not more and more tolerant, as some who are rather idealistic, would have said a few years ago, but rather I think I detect that the struggle is growing between all peoples... Social Darwinism, Machiavellianism, and Malthusianism--here we come!

Indeed. I think we're facing two monolithic challenges here: 1)a complete disenfranchisement of the common people (real and percieved) and 2)a complete lack of real (and benevolent) leadership from the elites who control things.

There certainly is a wealth of information in this thread, to read it again also engages my mind and makes me think and reaffirm what I believe to be true, and to know the real truth that there is only one truth and many beliefs or believers of many truths where reality can and does get distorted.
The reality of the future can be changed, but we need many people working together to make that change work.

Treating people differently regardless of the reason is one of the great flaws in our society. No human being is superior to any other, they are simply different. Unfortunately our society is built on treating people differently, they way people earn money depends on one being inferior to the other. The very structure of our society is ranked.
We have ranked people for as long as human society has existed. Perhaps it is simply the way we are. It is true that we would be better people if we no longer ranked anyone and there was no longer any discrimination. I doubt I will ever see it in my lifetime. Are humans capable of rising above their pettiness and treating everyone else as equal simply because they are also human?

Thank you. I dream of a world where people are assessed solely on merit. Where no one is born rich or poor but everyone starts out as equal and people are rewarded for their achievements and contributions not by who they work for.
It would take a very different economic system. One where the money belonged to the community not individuals. Where every one was given the basics regardless of what they did or did not do but those who did more were given bonuses or rewards. So students could earn extra money by working hard and achieving good results but no one was punished for failure.
I have seen the communist system and that was a failure where no one was rewarded for hard work and then there is our current capitalist system which is also not working. It places too much inherited wealth in the hands of a few and allows greed to destroy everything.
I believe humans can be different, we have been in the past. There will always be some who do not like it but it would mean changing the way we view the world and people. There is something seriously wrong with a world where a doctor can tell a patient that he/she is not rich enough to be worth healing. In my view that person has no right to be a doctor.

That is very interesting and I would have to agree with you. I don't think that things are so bad anymore. People are becoming more tolerant of each other. It isn't such a big deal anymore to have a child out of wedlock. I think that it is a good idea to be married before you have children. But if you aren't it is not the childs fault so I don't think that it is fair to treat the child any differently.

Yes Lakota,
That is in the Bible and they you and I are both human like those who try to keep me under their powers of control.
There is a theme I work with it is power and control of others. People are trying to obstruct people from having a voice.
We stand united in thought against the obstructionists, for our freedom depends on us working together in our thoughts first then in our actions. We are guided by a great source.
Keep good things in mind, I'll keep sharing as we move forward.

Ugh. 'Special privelages' and things such as affirmative action, benefits to certain 'groups' and whatnot really irritates me. I believe that each person should gain things based on their own merit, by this I mean your own personal knowledge and experience, what you can demonstrate you know (with or without something like extra education or a degree), inborn talent and creativity (like some people are musical geniuses or good at acting or sports), and perhaps things you are born with or born into. I mean nobody can choose whether their family has money or whether they have an IQ of 150.
I am against anything that tells people you HAVE to look at people based on gender, race, social status, economic status, etc to 'balance' groups. I think it is stupid to tell someone they HAVE to hire 6 women and 6 men to make it EQUAL. That doesn't mean equal, even if there are equal numbers of each gender. It also doesn't make sense to say 'we have to accept 10 people who pay their whole tuition, 10 people who pay half their tuition, and 10 people who can't afford their tuition at all'. What they should do it accept applicants for college based on what each person puts in their app, their high school transcripts, extra curricular activites, references, and then look at things like scholarships, financial aid, etc. I also do not think anybody should ever take race or ethnicity into account, in MY opinion that means nothing. We are ALL human, so we are all equal that way. There is not one or another ethnic group above any other, and I invite anybody to try and argue that with me. THAT is one of the most ridiculous things anybody has ever tried to say.
Affirmative action has ruined things for some people, let me tell you I do NOT want to get considered for anything, a job, a benefit, etc BECAUSE I'm a woman, because of my age group, or because I 'look a certain way'. I want to get considered for something because I am the most qualified applicant and they meet me and like me, that's ALL. If everybody was considered only based on their own merit without gender, race, economics, social standing, etc coming into play, things would be a lot fairer than they are and people would be doing things because they actually had knowledge or talent, not in order to fill some stupid quota that exists for no reason.
OH. And the whole thing where someone decided people should be married before having kids? I don't think that matters. Do you know why? I think it should be 'people should be in love and committed before they have kids'. This doesn't mean they have to be married. There are married people who are NOT in love and NOT committed and may have NOT even wanted kids! This doesn't equal out to a very good environment or future for THAT family. There are unmarried people who are very much in love and committed and want kids. They'd be excellent parents.
Some people seem to be very closed minded and intolerant, that's all I can say about this whole subject. I see nothing 'second rate' about many things that are just happenings in life.

Thanks Mommyboo,
I think we are two people on the same page, I agree that people should be able to have children married or not because marriage is only a commitment to one and another and things can be changed with enough social pressure every marriage can be destroyed.
I'll tell you all about that and how the Homosexual community is involved in breaking marriages apart.
The authorities and many social circles make it clear that nothing has really changed in the last two thousand years let alone the last two hundred the old enemy is still the lies by the authorities and how they follow each other in lock step.
I am hoping that things really are changing...
I'm continuing to pray...
May action come swiftly and clearly see that there is something wrong in our world that needs to be repaired.

Well, if people would discontinue being STUPID and come to grips with the fact that men and women are exactly the same with regard to talent, ability, and knowledge to do most jobs, given the proper tools and training, then there wouldn't be a need for affirmative action. I am more bothered by affirmative action in regards to ethnic groups, I don't see a lot of unfairness as far as gender these days. I also think that the same job position should pay the same without any regard whatsoever to gender. The only differences would be knowledge, job experience, and job performance.
Of course even though most people would agree with me that I'm right and it would be the proper way to do things, implementing it would likely be a nightmare of epic proportions.
It's good to see you again! I've missed you and I actually came back to this thread because I had seen your name lol.

Hi Gary,
I am not a person of many words but yes I agree with you, wether we are rich or poor, born out of wedlock or not we are equal to eceryone else but we have to live our own lives regardless of how we are treated to be the best we can and not be a victim of society, we have to be strong and not give into bullies.

Thanks Tamara,
There is a lot to hope for, and while we are all living our own lives we should not be victims of the people who are keeping the poor, poor... I thought that in America each individual had the opportunity to be anything they wanted to be, there are obstructions in the way to our dreams and we need to remove those obstructionists.

Isn't it great that God doesn't look at any child as a second-rate person. You can be a citizen of this world and be humilated, hated, etc., but you can be a 'citizen of HIS WORLD' and be loved with the love of God that passeth all understanding.
As long as this world stands as it is, there will be prejudice and people will get treated differently. I remember my daddy's mother and how she treated people with a smile and good word - didn't matter what they wore, where they lived, or how they talked. She saw no difference in anyone! And that is how it should be. But all people aren't guided by the Word of God. They don't think of the spirit of God living in them and how they should be like him (Christians, that is). We can expect the secular world to act differently. But, we, as Christians should not treat people differently. I am sure some of those people who treat you differently would be different if they never knew you were conceived before your parents married. That's the human nature. But there is no child on earth that GOD didn't know was going to be here. And they are all here for a purpose - to serve him, not that all do or ever will.

Just be careful my child,
There is a dangerous element in our world where people are not who they claim to be, they will obstruct you from attaining your dreams and desires, they will deceive you at every opportunity and destroy all you seek to achieve for you and your family.
I treat everyone equally if they and their agenda's do not hurt my family, once my family has been harmed all restraints are removed. I'm not a violent man, my tools are words that could change our world for good better than it has ever been.
I seek the truth.
