Yes, a person can be hypnotized. I have seen this magic many times. I know the person who is very advanced in this field. He can hypnotize any person with in 3 seconds. Yes, Dr Shri Mali is the name. He belong to Jodhpur city of Rajasthan, Founder of Yantar, Mantar,Tantar institute. I believe that in hypnosis faith is the main criteria for hypnotized. To become a hypnotist dedication, strong willpower and regular practice should be required. Self hypnosis is another great benefit of it.

We have studied that a person can be hypnotized but it should be done by an expert because it has a lot of consequences in doing it.I never been hypnotized though i have attended a hypnosis session by a doctor, maybe because i am not focusing because of my curiousity.

Yes I believe in HYPNOSIS. But the person who has to be hypnotised must concentrate. Without his intrest we cant Hypnotise him.
I was also got hypnotised by the psyciatrist when a got a problem. But for the first two times he failed to hypnotise me, because he lost to drag my intrest towards him. But for the third time he got succeded and solved my problem. This is my personal experience.

Yes, it does work but it depends on the person. I practice it but I am not consistent yet. I myself am a tough person to hypnotize.

i don't know,i tend not to believe in that because all the hypnotism i saw live on tv shows or stuff like that seemed like faking..maybe there can be a way of inducing yourself in a spirit that will allow you to contact your subconscient, how people who make yoga do...but to get into that estate of mind in just some minutes when your doctor tells you,i really don't think so

Yes, a person can be Hypnotised. I have been hypnotised before to help get over some of the Flashbacks I was having some yrs. back, and to be able to remember some things in my life. I do not recommend it for everyone, but I think for me, it was one of the first steps of my recovery.

I do believe a person can be hypnotized, but not in that showy Las Vegas way where the guy puts you to sleep and you do whatever he says. I believe that a person can be hypnotized for the purposes of therapy. My mom was hypnotized once. She wanted to know why she was claustrophobic, and the doctor hypnotized her and she remembered being in church as a little girl, being constantly surrounded by people all the time, and not being able to get where she needed to be. Since then, her claustrophobia has not been so bad.
I've heard that you need to be the kind of person who is not easily distracted in order for it to work. For instance, they say that if you can be so fixated on a book or television program that you don't notice when someone comes in the room, hypnotism might work for you. This does not describe me at all. Hehe.

Hypnosis is a state of mind in which a person's conscious critical thinking mind is bypassed and communication with the subconscious mind is established. Although some individuals experience an increase in suggestibility and subjective feelings of an 'altered state of consciousness', this is not true for everyone. In fact, some supposed hypnotic indicators and subjective changes can be achieved without relaxation or a lengthy induction, a fact that increases the controversy around hypnosis
so i think person can be hypnotized.

I have never believed in it untill i witnessed it.A few years back my stepfather hypnotised my mom infront of me and my betsfriend. He is a highschool teacher but studied psycology. At first i thought my mom was faking it to get us scared. But when he asked her a question that she would never have said if she wasnt under hypnotised.I knew she wasnt faking becasue she never would have told him.It was funny because he was making her pretend to be a figure skater and she was doing all these heaps ect...So yes i do believ in it.He tried to do it to me but it didnt work. The reason for that was becasue i ws scared that he would ask me questions ect that i didnt want anyone to know just like he had done to my mom..So i didnt stay conecentracted or focused. But if you do it and stay calm and focused it does work.

I think hypnosis is a real phenomena, every person can be hypnotised, i haven't been hypnotised and i don't plan to. I have heard of many cases of hypnosis and i think that this thing is true. I am asking myself right now how is to be hypnotised. Maybe here is a specialist in hypnosis on mylot. Good luck!
