It's both hard and easy in different ways. It's nice because you don't have to be in all that traffic mess and rush hour like in the morning or afternoon. The road is pretty good when you don't have the usual office-hour schedule. You didn't also need to bump in to too many crowd in streets or in a restaurant when you're having break or something. Besides, it's quieter and less chaotic at night. It's hard when you're just starting 'cause your body needs to adjust and you might deprive your sleep a little if you're not used to sleeping during daytime and for party and club goers, it's really hard 'cause instead of partying at night, they have to work. I think it's just a matter of discipline and getting used to and night shift would be just any other typical work schedule.

Hey nee_raks! Yeah, I kinda know 'cause I work night shift for a year now. At first, it was really hard to keep up but I've gotten used to it. Thanks for the best response, I appreciate it! Take care

i am sure you know it a lot better than me that's why you gave such a good answer and keeping both the aspects of this night lifestyle in front, it is easy for work but hard on us and our body as we have to make a lot of changes. Thanks Dutches you're my best answer.

Hi nee_raks! I used to work a night shift job on a seasonal basis. When it was winter I was ok with it..sleeping in the day and such..but when it became Spring time it began to take it's toll. I was always tired and never wanted to sleep during the day. It messes with your body clock to and has been studied and proven to be unhealthy to work the late night hours.

It actually messes a lot Jen with the body clock, now i am feeling it as it comes hard one me .. in the beginning i really enjoys it and the reason behind is the same you described. I started working when it was winter and now summer time. I feel sleepy all the time during day even after a few hours of sleep.

I work night shifts and I have been working like this for 4years and a half already and am getting tired of it. I can't exercise properly anymore, I feel like I get tired easily all the time plus I can't sleep properly too. No matter what I do, I will always miss working the day shift. I just wish it could be that easy but in a call center industry, it's just too hard to hope for that kind of sched.

I don't really have the night shift option because I am a teacher. I've honestly never had a job that required me to work the night shift. I think I'd do ok working it but it would definitely mess up the schedule I've been in for the past 25 years! haha

I don't work in night shifts but I always don't go to sleep till 2:00 AM. I like that because there is nobody to distrub me in the deep night, I can think better than day, I don't need to afraid other's opinion and thinking. At that time, all world is mine, I own the whole world.
