Should we all be able to afford a brand new car?

I just read about an extra-cheap car, Tata Nano, being made available to the poorer citizens of India. I think at £1366, it is a steal and looks so cute. I couldn't dream of buying it at that price in England, without taking a bank loan. Do you think such cars should be manufactured and made affordable for people in other parts of the world too? I think so. Imagine, no loan, no repayment, and brand new, totally affordable! wow. What do you think?

Well as an Indian, it makes me proud that an Indian company TATA, has been able to give a car at this price. At the same time please remember that TATA also owns the Jaguar brand which is one of the costliest car in the world. As you have mentioned it is creating waves in India, and the poorer citizens in this side of the world are quite exited, that at long last they will be able to afford a decent car.

This is really a good news for all people. But, before launching the car they told to the people that, the car price will be 1 lakh, but after launching the car the price is 1 lakh 30 thousand.
