Men cheat because this is something natural and normal

I think men cheat because they don't respect their actual partner not because it is a natural thing. If we say that everything natural and normal everyone will cheat, since even women has natural instincts. However we cannot do what our instinct tell us like we are annimals, humans have brains to control themselves.....well not everyone uses brains :)

It is a disgusting thought to think that it is natural. I know plenty of men who can resist others to be with the one woman they love. Men who cheat deserve what they get.

Hello Volkus! I do not agree with your brother about that it is normal and natural that men will cheat. I think we shouldn't think like that and it can cause many arguments. Men and women are the same. We are not animals and we should know how to control our feelings. It's not right to say that men can't control themselves when they see a beautiful woman so they must cheat. Men don't have any genetic problem and the problem is only with the guys who cheat, not all men in the world.

You always have a choice. You can always be tempted by that fancy car with the keys left in, the seductive secretary that you work with, or that chocolate cake calling you name in the fridge. OK the chocolate cake is a bad example because I cannot resist it, but I resist the other because I know it is wrong. I repeat you always have a choice, we are not monkeys, chickens, cows or bulls.

no, i disagree with ur thought ,i im a one woman person ,and i never looked toward any other girl than the one who i lov, many men may be seeing sites with adult content (which is nowadays seen by small boys also),i too saw them but when i fell in luv it all felt unrealistic and emotionless,only thing i wanted is that my loves care 4 me .so according to many me some men cheat and some don't. but according to a survey today more woman r cheating their partners then men did because now days many of the men live in foreign countries away from their lady ,so she too seeks 4 luv out side her house . so u can conclude 1 thing that may it be men or may it be a woman ,bot r hungry for emotions and a caring person.and if u luv a person only because of looks then i don't think it is luv,then it is crush. luv for me means exchange of ideas and a felling of care.

Cheating is not limited to Men. Women cheat too. They may not cheat because they lust for someone, but they may cheat for money. Have you never seen a women falling for rich people. The more rich the man is, the better it is for women. Now, I know that not all women are like this, but some of them are. Therefore, it is not fair for me to make a generalized statement for all women. Similarly, its not fair for women to say that it's Man's nature to cheat because not all men cheat. Men may not be as emotional as women but they do value relationships.

If thats the case, does it mean that women can also cheat because its natural and normal? We are both human beings...

It is not only men who get tempted but also women. I know of someone who specializes in seducing married women. It's not the kind of activity I would be interested in but he seems to enjoy it. Cheers!!

There are guys out there who really are faithful, if your brother thinks like that maybe he dont need to expect that his girfriend would be faithful to him too. When I took up the subject Philosophy of Man, only one thing had retained in my memory and that is the famous line by a philosopher, Man in nature are born polygamous, meaning they cannot be contented to one gal. Although it is possible that there are some men who may be able to resist temptation and be contented with one girl, most men can be tempted.

its not normal, its just so happen that men are not contentend with there partner. if they satisfied, they will be stick to there partner.

relationships take effort in every aspect. i think you have to be attracted to someone mentally, emotionally and physically to be truely happy with them. i think most men cheat and a smart women keeps a stock supply of sexy undies in the closet.. keep it interesting and ull keep ur man!

It IS natural for both men AND women to "cheat". It's not really the cheating but the monogamous relationships vs. polygamous relationships. Men have a natural instinct built in them to spread their sperm to as many women as possible and also young and healthy women. That's a biological fact whether you like it or not. But as we live in todays society monogamous relationships is the standard unless you and your partner have agreed on an open relationship. And as a person and in a relationship with another wo/man you obviously have the power to NOT cheat on your loved one or break up with them if you feel like you won't be able to respect them. The instinct may be natural and real but it doesn't mean it's ok for anyone to act on it.

he's full of it, i think men who cheats its because they got big egos and think he can do whatever. so i disagree with him. it takes a real man not to cheat at all

Hello Volkus, I don't think that it is natural for men to cheat and be compared to the lower form of animals as well. I think the main reason that people cheat is that they don't respect their commitments and their partners. Or can be put down to plain selfishness and lack of control. The other reason is that some cheat because they are trying to prove that they still have it to charm other girls and vice versa for women because of low self-esteem or confidence. Some may be afraid of being confined to 1 relationship that's why they cheat instead of making the relationship stronger and reaping the full benefit and happiness that a true relationship can give them. and some may just have a bloated ego that they thought cheating is good and something natural lol...

It's not as simple as animals mess around and so should we, or even animals mess around and it takes a lot for us to overcome that. In actuality, it changes from creature to creature, and probably species to species to a certain extent. Watch the Discovery Channel or Animal Planet sometime, or pick up Planet Earth on DVD- a lot of animals mate for life. There's even been homosexual couples found in the wild! So, I guess you could say that it is ALL natural.

hmm... all is fair in the world of lust. but certainly not in the world of love. love means putting your partner's emotional needs before your other needs. men who think it is ok to sleep around with others cannot possibly be in love at all. for them, it could only be satisfyin a need or an urge. even love for them will be a 'taking' concept.. not a giving one. i'd steer clear of men who cannot stay committed in a relationship and give weird justifications for cheating

FIRST OF ALL... in the world of cheating, anymore.. women are JUST as bad as men! However, it doesn't justify either party. I think its natural to feel the urge to have "relations"... its natural to be turned on whether its your wife/husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/movie star, whatever... its natural to fantasize a little... but its also natural to love, to respect to use your conscience and to know the difference between right and wrong. If you want to be premiscuous .. that's fine by me! But don't drag someone else in it with you. If you know you're like htat and just can't resist sleeping with other people, then dont commit yourself to someone.
