Do you think that they should extend the season of the NFL?

Given the amount of revenue that the National Football league makes in just 17 weeks, don't you think that it would be a good idea to make the season longer by adding in a couple games. They would turn the preseason games into real regular season games and make the playoffs longer. This would help to create more money for the league and please more fans as well. No! The NFL season is long enough. Football is American's favorite sport Because it has a shorter season than both baseball and basketball. Or even hockey. It keeps you wanting more. Besides more games and it would overlap with baseball. The season ends in February , just in time for us to turn to the second half of basketball and the hockey and the beginning of baseball.it is perfect as it is.

I do think they should make the regular season longer and drop two preseason games. I think they would need to make the rosters bigger as their would be more injuries. I also think that the NFL would need to add another bye week giving each team two per season.

Well for me I think they should take away 1 of the preseason game's I mean for me as a steeler fan we kinda know who's going to be there after the 3rd game..
And what get's me is I don't want to see player's hurt at all but really for preson game that's crazy...

I'm not so sure that would be a great idea. I mean yea, I love football and look forward to it each year, but I'm afraid that if the season were longer I may not enjoy it as much! Like baseball - geez it seems like the baseball season lasts FOREVER. And after a few months of it, I get bored.
