Your Commute

I just read an amazing story about the commute time of people who live in Los Pinos, Colombia. It seems that the "commuters" of this remote community have to use a zip line cable to get across a 1,200-foot-deep gorge. And each one has to bring his or her own pulley, rope, and a piece of wood to act as a brake when they get to the other side.
The alternative is a two-hour hike around the gorge.
Could you imagine? Luckily for me, my longest commute is only one day a week to take my oldest son to school about an hour and a half drive away.
So, how long is your commute?

That's amazing! I have read similar stories where people in another country had to wade through a river with their dress clothes on top of their head so they wouldn't get wet, then change on the other side. I used to walk to work in Dominican Republic and New York. Now I study online, so I the only thing I commute is stairs, lol, and my husband drives about 20 minutes.
