How old is the oldest email in your in box?

HI Loverbear: How are you ?? I got you beat in my AOL account I'm up to over 6,ooo++ its like 6,362 or there abouts, they've been showing me a screen to CLEAN OUT MY BOX DAILY NOW FOR THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS LOLOL!!!![i][/i][u][/u] I just have gotten so slack about it all these days I used to do really good but then I got more and more email accounts for different internet things I was doing and sh!t I can't keep up for nothing!! all of my email accounts are overloaded I wish AOL had a fast EMPTY IT KEY like they do for SPAM, the dumba$$es!!! I MEAN REALLY DUH!!!! its hard telling how many are being bounced back daily too?? oh well someday I'll get around to cleaning it out, I don't know when but someday...(sigh)!!!

my yahoo mail was the first mail i made about 6 years back and i still have the welcome mail. i got curious when i read your post and now i deleted it. I got over 12,000 mails in my inbox and i too have to delete lots of mails which serve no purpose just take back in the past and all hurts come back so it is better not to have them rather then keep them as something which would bring back things which i have forgotten with time and lots of efforts.

Okay, I finally got around to cleaning my email this last 2 weeks and would you believe I have one from 4/5/05. I am TRYING hard to get my mail down to a manageable size. In my gmail account I have 29897 messages in my all mail folder. That is actually less than it was 2 weeks ago though :)

You only have 1,000? LOL. My oldest email is from 02/21/2006---believe it or not I do systematically "clean" up my emails and place a lot in folders so have no idea how many are in them, but I have over 6,000 emails in my regular inbox...many are ones I don't want to delete--I do clean out or delete newer emails though on a daily basis though

I have one from May 8, 2007. but its there to remind me to look at it sometime and actually DO something about it. I'll leave mail in my inbox until either it is resolved (like I've ordered something) or it happens (like a friend visiting from out of town) or until I'm ready to deal with it - and decide what to do with it - this one is about food allergies.

it's of the 4/21/07 and i have about 3000 mex in my box. I don't want to waste time on clearing emails, if they are interesting i'll read them, if they are not, i don't care about them.
