Has anyone tried Paton's CiCi and worked with it successfully? I went on an obssessive yarn buying streak last year when I kept finding yarns at a really good price and some have worked out well and others like the CiCi drive me nuts. I got some Lion Brand Fancy Fur which is also driving me nuts. All those yarns with the little pom poms worked into the fiber look nice when they are all balled up but when you start working with them they prove to be much more challenging than other yarns. I really like the Paton Carmen because it is so soft but it also slides around alot and you need two work with two strands at a time to create something with any substance. I really love the Lacette as it goes a long way and it is a good substitute for mohair but it is so thin! I can't work with that eyelash stuff at all and I am starting to think that incredible is only going to be useful to me in weaving projects. What are your favorite yarns to work with?

I got some eyelash yard the kind that ends up looking like fur when its worked. I made a scarf and gave it to my bro's girlfriend, I crocheted it and it came out pretty nice - it was a PAIN to work with at first until I got used to it.

I guess I could try with a larger crochet hook. I have a lot of it now so I'm sure I will get around to doing something with it eventually.

My favorite yarn is Phentex Chunky. I have knitted many ripple afghans with it and they are very warm. Unfortunately, I seem to have a much harder time buying it lately. Good thing I have a decent supply on hand. :)

I am not familiar with Phentex but I noticed a yarn in the stuff I got from my stepmom that may have had that name on it.
