well, you can go to everyone's favorite place in the Philippines, Baguio. You can also go to Tagaytay, they have a new attraction there, zipline and cable cars. I have tried zip line and it was so much fun. You can also visit Boracay if you love the beach. You can do wakeboarding in Camarines Sur and visit Mayon Volcano since you are already in the Bicol region. Enjoy the summer!

taal lake - a great view of taal lake
If you want someplace near you could go to the La Mesa Eco Park. Although the place is already a bit crowded, it's still a good place to visit. If you plan to go farther you could try Tagaytay. Cool temparature with stunning views, Tagaytay is a nice place to go to to relax and unwind with your friends and/or families.

philippines has lot to offer. and as usual, beaches in boracay, subic, palawan and puerto galera are very crowded in this kind of season. my family usually do an nlex roadtrip like starting to visit pampanga, subic, zambales (anawangin, capones, camara and potipot islands to be specific), pangasinan, bataan, la union, baguio, vigan and pagudpod. its also nice to see the marlboro country scenery in batanes though it is quite expensive. its also nice to visit cebu and bohol and also surigao..

Hijhenn22, good day to you my friend. Well as we notice nowadays the condition of weather is very hot which means the summer season is coming. As a Filipino we love to relax when the condition of our weather is hot because most of the FILIPINO love to rest and always want to feel comfort. Me this coming summer we are planning to go in some good places like the place of Baguio,Boracay, Subic, Palawan, Puerto Galera and other good places here in our country, we will going one of that place, but the problem is if we have no money, i think it will be imposible for us to go to that place. As we know most of the company here in our country are affected with the global financial crisis, and i can say that also my family are affected. . . I think we will only just stay hone and just feel the heat of summer in this season. I can say even we do not have money to go for other place, as long as we are with each other, i can say we can enjoy summer here in our house. Well that's all my response to your discussion. I hope i give a good interesting response. Happy posting and happy earning. . . Good luck to our earning career here in my lot. . . Always take care my friend and GODBLESS. . . Mabuhay. . . =)

actually money is one factor why i need to know some places where we can have our vacation because everybody are affected with global crisis. But i guess there are some ways we can still enjoy the summer, the beaches and the party without spending much money. all you have to do is just look around the beaches near the city where you belong and have picnic with your family there. by the way thanks for sharing your thoughts here. thank you and God bless you.

I've officially started my summer 3 weeks ago in El Nido, Palawan =) If given a chance I would definitely go back. Palawan is a beautiful province and a clean one at that. There are so many places to go to. You can start in Puerto Princesa for the St. Paul's Subterranean River National Park. The rock formations inside the underground river are just so amazing. Then there's the Crocodile Farm, Mitra's Ranch, Baker's Hill, Butterfly Garden, Vietnamese Village and a lot more. You can also go island hopping in Honda Bay. Don't forget to dine in the restaurants in the city. Sea foods are the best here. After the city, go further north and explore Coron or El Nido. Truly worthwhile. If you're interested I know someone from Palawan who can help you arrange things like accommodations and tours. Just let me know alright. Have fun this summer! =)

Since you are from Mindanao I could recommend beautiful places where it is highly ideal for vacation especially since Holy Week is approaching, you can visit the Camiguin island, it is so beautiful there and so serene, and the spots is so amazing you can choose from white beaches, falls, spring resorts, hot springs. The people in Camiguin are friendly and you can also eat or take with you their delicacies such as lanzones and others, the island can be toured in just a day. Another, is the islands also in Surigao especially in Siargao island you can enjoy surfing in General Luna or you can visit the odd and mysterious places in Soccorro like the jelly fish island where you can actually see hundreds of jelly fishes that doesnt harm you at all, in same island you can tour on the caves sorrounding it. Its one of a kind ! You must tell your family on these beutiful places.

If its a family outing, then i would suggest that you go to BOHOL. There you'll have the chance to visit all the touristry places like the chocolate hills, the tarsier sanctuary, the caves and have lunch while cruising Loboc river. And of course you'll enjoy the beach there - be it Alona or Dumuluan beach. You can also go for dolphin wathcing, island hopping or snorkelling. Have FUN!
