I drink around 6 to 8 cups of coffee everyday to keep me on the go; it's the aroma that I love with the hot, steaming coffe; the downside though is I always need to look for a comfort room to relieve :-)
What fruit is that? I will need to try that.

really....is there fruit that is more effective than caffeine??? would like to know the name the name of that fruit. As for my understanding goes, fruits are high ]in sugars therefore, they tend to make sleepy. I can't think of any fruit to have caffeine effect

Well, what fruit is it? You could have at least posted the name of the fruit here. Is it durian? or Mango? What is it?

Oh my Gosh! I wish I have read this topic earlier because most of the responses said that apple keeps you awake and more effective than caffeine. Reason is it is already 11pm and my baby is already sleeping. If I won't sleep as soon as he sleeps then when I go to bed that will be his waking time to drink milk. The problem is I just ate an apple half an hour ago! I wish I have read this earlier because I want to sleep now. That is why I was wondering why I suddenly felt alive and awake more than few hours ago. Anyway I will still go to bed and try to close my eyes until I fell asleep. Is that proven true? That apples keep you awake?
I have read that its not good to drink juice or eat fruits too late, as they have varying degrees of acid in them and indigestible peels which don't help digestion at all. But others say that if you eat any kind of fruit you will feel sleepy because your stomach is full. Anyway whatever the effect is I love fruits especially mangoes and grapes.

I'd take my coffee or my energy drink before eating an apple (or whatever fruit you're referring to). It just doesn't seem to have that kind of effect on me. I have noticed, though, that drinking large amounts of water can wake you up pretty (surprisingly) good.
