The Best University in the Philippines!

i think that the best university is the PUP why? because it has low amount of tuition fee and the professors are excellent even though most of the rooms are not that good.

Well I suppose you can't really generalize a school for being good because the school is popular or whatsoever. Though I must say that UP, Ateneo, and La Salle are one of the best schools in the country. No doubt about it. However, like the Philippine Women's University (PWU), Mapua, Letran, and so on.. Can be good schools too. I would say that it actually depends on what the school has it's forte, like the major they are more specialized. Take it for example, for PWU, they cater more students that take the Hotel and Restaurant Mgt., Mapua, for computer and Engineering courses. Centro Escolar University, for Dentistry.. and of course a lot more. It's just that, schools provide more options and varieties for students, especially if the student would like to go to school that they want even it don't specialized much in this major the student would like to take. So again, it varies and it depends.

Hello CMTS_87! Since I never tried to go to other school, I would say that the best university for me is the University of the Philippines (my alma mater) I wouldn't be where I am today if not for them. I learned many things to them and that I like the way how they train us.

I would have to say La Salle just because I'm from THAT university. (Animo La Salle!) But on a more serious note, I don't think it really matters. I mean, some schools are better than others in terms of facilities. Others has the best teachers but have really poor performance during board exams. Still some has the best students ever, but they're too elitist. I am not quite sure why a La Sallian like me will say this, but with no biases, I believe U.P. is the best choice. If I could turn back time, I would have enrolled at U.P. instead. (I'm actually regretting it now, by the way)

for me, i go for state u, UP!!! why???? its beacause of there passing rate in board exams, quality education and high respect to graduates.

There are pros and cons in each University. There is no the best for me since every University has its own specialty or something. I notice that majority of the people answer UP. Well, it's not that I hate UP, it is just I don't feel like it. What's in UP that other Universities don't have if I may ask? Because I don't know what is really good in there, aside from it being so active and all. Even in the rallies this school is active. Hehehe. But I have nothing against this school. Ateneo and La Salle, this has been a thing for like how many years already, from education to sports. This two schools are really rivals for like forever. I wonder why some people think that they are rivals till the bitter end. Even in job applying, there is still this comparison and contrast. UST. None so far has answered this. But, I really like this school. I am not saying it is the best, But for me, UST is really something. I used to study here, but I have to leave because of financial and course problems. Other schools like Mapua, PUP and others are also good. So, I guess, I don't have any best University that I can answer, all I can say is that, I still want to study in UST. hehehe.

I believe the University of the Philippines is the best one in the country. The reason I say this is because of the standards that they have in terms of education. Also, it's because they're a University where you won't need a wad of money in order to get the best education in the land. Just an FYI, I didn't go to that university..

for me, it's still University of the Philippines which is the best school. The training is very different. There are other good schools like Ateneo de Manila, De la Salle Universtity, FEU and many more.

Hi CMTS_87, good day to you. Well you were right there are numerous excellent universities in the Philippines. But me because i also study in U.P. But silent P, which means P.U.P. hehe hope you get me point. Hehe... I am very proud, with my school P.U.P. because our school is very poor in tuition and one good thing is the professors are very good in teaching, by the way what i mean is teachers or professor have a good expirience in teaching. As my expirience in my school, many students are really proud because of there own reason like the school was very affordable. Most of the parents are very happy because they do not spend more money just to give good education to there children. But honestly speakin, for me the best school or colleges are those very popular nowadays, because it asure the good service of teaching, eve though you pay a very big amout. Like the school of MAPUA INSTITUTE, this school was really great because as i now this school was very good in teaching engineering,which i mean was, if you really want to be an engineer with a great knowledge that is the school, that was the best for you. And in addition if your interest is in computers, programs, software and hardwares, or what i mean was all about computers. The right school that you must go with, are those school having a good teachers performance and good facilities like the S.T.I.
