Well, I'm really not that familiar with the colleges that we have here and what their specialties are. I'd usually go for a University of my choice then go on from there. I believe experience is the perfect teacher in this time of age.

i have no doubt about engineering, its MAPUA. with HRM, i dont know anything about SAN SEBASTIAN with that honestly, maybe i dont hear a lot of them in comeptitions. i am an HRM student, i only heard PWU, ST. BENILDE, and us of course, by the way i am from LYCEUM, and UST, i think UST is more specialize in TOURISM courses. other from that, i heard also that UST is good in MASS COMMUNICATION courses. PUP is a producer of best CPA in the country. As for law schools, i agree that SAN BEDA has it. ATENEO, i believe is the counterpart of UP in private schools. well, UP is UP. i still look up to that school as the best university in the philippines. lol.

VIVA MAPUA. Glad to know you guys considered my alma mater THE best in Engineering. At the same time I'm saddened coz the Mapua Institute of Technology I know, will become the Engineering faculty of Malayan University starting next school year(I think). How that affects our old diplomas and stuffs? I don't know, it's gonna be outdated that's for sure. I guess it won't be a problem if an alum decides to stay in the Philippines, but it potentially will be a problem for those planning to have a career abroad, specially when an employer does a background check on the educational attainment. I'm hoping the management of Malayan have considered this scenario, and have taken actions before launching the brand Malayan U, and relegating Mapua as just an Engineering faculty. Oh I'm sorry for my rant, ahhh nevermind. On topic, I think ADMU is the best in any business and financial courses, and is the absolute best in MBAs.

Hi evsoriano, good day to you my co-mylotter. Well i also believe that the "MAPUA INSTITUTE of Technology" is the best institute for Engineering because of the good performance of the teacher in that school and because of the good facilities together with the advance apparatus in that institute. Many people also told me that the MAPUA INSTITUTE was really great because as they know only people that are smart are only enables to apply in that institute. But i asure that if you really want to be a good engineer with a great knowledge try or go in that institute. As my experience, if you also want to have a great knowledge in computer or all about computers together with it's program. I think the best school or college for that thing was the S.T.I. Here in our country and the AMA computer college, because as the expririence of my cousin who was graduated in S.T.I. And received one of the best thesis award for the school year of 2009 in the S.T.I., he had told me that, most of the teachers in a school gives a very important role. A good teacher deserved if he/she have a good concern feeling to his/her student to understand every lesson she/he was thinking. Well that's all my response to your forum topic discussion. Happy earning and happy earning to us, and last by the way good luck to our earning career here in mylot. Mabuhay and GODBLESS us always. . . =)

I think that Business and Information Technology related courses are best taken in Ateneo de Manila University. Ateneo also offers law but is too expensive for most Filipinos. For masteral degrees, I think UP may not offer the best education but they have the reputation that would matter especially to people who plan on working abroad. Thanks for the response on my discussion :)
