I been married 20 years and the old fart just now decided to wake up before I left. How many guys need a frying pan to the head?

I would say 99.99% of them. They get stuck in a rut and don't know what they've got till it's gone, or threatening to go. I think sometimes they take things for granted after a certain amount of time. They have this "comfort zone" where they think they're infallible. Well... here's the news guys!!! You're NOT infallible. We can get just as fed up, being left outside your comfort zone for so long!!!

thats my thoughts too. even with the rut gotta do something. my hubby is doing much better. bless his heart i do love him.

Yes, Sweetheart, I'm sure you do, and he loves you too, but they need to realise that we women are sentimental creatures on the whole, and we need to hear those three little words and to have a bit more romance in our lives. Growing old is one thing, but growing old together, is another. If they don't show or tell us that they love us, then we start to think we're being taken for granted and that's not a good feeling.

after awhile you either um crap or get off the pot-lol Men are always late bloomers. And yes I did feel like I was unwanted, not needed, I didnt feel like a woman-was just living day to day hoping. I think the disappointment was the worst-like hoping for something you never got. Thank goodness its better now.

uhmmm i think A LOT Of men need some sort of hit to the head. im sorry to hear about your big life change unless it was for the better of course! its kind of like the saying "you dont know what you got till its gone" i think that is the case a lot of the time because people take their significant others for granted and once they decide to kick em to the curb the person realizes they have been stupid. hmmmmm good luck on all of you endeavors!
