hehehe, of course find a room where your puppy is cornered don't leave your puppy free to walk specially in the morning..in that case your puppy will no longer disturb you like climbing you in your bed..your puppy should have a room on it's own..you know, i really like puppy specially a kind of puppy like yours..it's like an alarm clock of yours..

How old is he? It's possible he needs to go outside, if so just take him out quietly with no fuss and put him back where he should sleep. If he doesn't need to go outside, you should simply just ignore him. If he gets any reaction out of you, then he's learning that whatever he's doing works for the fun to begin.
One last thing. It could very well work to increase his evening exercise. When my dog was a puppy approaching 9-10 months of age, he started doing the same thing as yours, and he did not need to go outside. Reason was that he was ready to start the day and wanted me to play with him. I lengthened his late evening walk that we took right before bedtime to 30 minutes and that solved the issue immediately.

Have someone to attend to your puppy in the morning. Maybe your puppy wants to potty or is hungry. So far I don't have that problem with my pet coz she doesn't disturb us when she knows we are sleeping. There are times though that she will lick our hands and I was thankful a couple of times because I was running late.
