Does your WordPress blog get spammed?

I am finding I get really annoying spammy messages left in the comment sections of my Word Press blog.
Does anybody else have this problem and is there a good way to prevent it?
I really enjoy blogging, have my own domain, and have a link back to Twitter so everybody there knows when I have blogged.

If you mean those nonsense comments that are full of links to 'cheap medications', I get hundreds of them.
My blogs use an automatic spam blocker called Spam Karma. I don't even need to view the spam comments, they are deleted and I get a daily report. So far it has not picked on any genuine comments. If it does there is an option to unblock it.
