If you were given a chance, will you change your own name?

I am happy with my name, but sometimes I think that there are better names out there. I find myself being jealous of them for having those wonderful names. If I would be given a chance, I want to change my name to River (after that late actor River Phoenix) or maybe Miles (because Miles just sound really nice).
How about you? Would you want to change your name?
If yes, what names do you want to change it to?
If no, why not?

If you had asked me this a few years ago, I would've said yes, without a doubt. I never used to like my name, I hated the spelling (my name is Katharine, and no-one ever spells it correctly because it's one of the less common spellings of the name) However, I now LOVE my name, and while everyone I know calls me by my nickname, Kat, I wouldn't change my name. I love that it has a less common spelling (especially as it is the closest spelling to the Greek word from which it originates) and I think it's a really nice name.

I won't change my Name. I like my name, Because I haven't heard the same name to anybody else. I think my name is unique.

hii,
i do agree with you that there might be some better names than my name.
but i am quite happy with my name, and i dont even think to change it.
