My husband sometimes has episodes of migraine headaches too. Like most people, foods with caffeine are among those that trigger his migraine. Cheese, MSG, changes in weather, lack of water are also potential triggers. Bottomline is different people have different triggers for their migraine. Once you are able to identify your triggers, you will be able to avoid and manage your migraine.
Live healthy and happy my friend.

In addition to refined sugar products and caffeine, dairy products and wheat can also trigger migraines. Remember, it's probably whatever you want most that is the culprit, whether chocolate, cheese or eggs.

As a migraine sufferer, I avoid caffeine, as it is a stimulant and nearly always triggers an attack. I have also quit sugar-based foods and all refined sugar as this causes problems also. In other words, I have given up the foods that I love most - but it is worth it, as I haven't had a migraine since doing this. Everybody is different though, so each person would have to discover for themselves what triggers their migraine - Derek
