Hi, is it important for you to have a handphone with built in camera? YES to me. I used to think I only need some basic features handphone. But now with built in camera, I can't think of a reason not to have such feature anymore. It has became a basic requirement for handphone. How convenience our lives is with this built in camera! I could capture important data and image anytime, anywhere, not to mention those beautiful scenery that we never expected to see in the middle of our journey! I definitely look for good built in camera handphone next time! How about you?:)

for me, my main requirement in a cellphone is that it has load so that i could call and text, especially in times of emergency. camera and other functions are just add-ons or an advantage if your cellphone has one. i still prefer using digicam rather than using my camera phone, because if your camera phone is stolen. you lost both functions.

I def have to have a camera in my cell phone. I take so many pictures of my kids & dont always remember to carry my camera. That is one of the main reasons i bought the cell phone i have right now. I bought the LG Dare because it has one of the best cameras on a cell phone. It is a 3.2 megapixel when most are 1.3 or 2.0...it takes as good of pictures as my digital camera most of the times. I think if you are going to spend money on a phone you might as well reap all the benefits.

I agree with Erica on this. I also have a 3.2 megapixel phone and i think its the best thing! If your going to spend the money on a phone, you might as well get a phone with a camera and all the stuff that comes along.. I recommend LG's without a doubt. I've hardly EVER had any probs with them..

For me, a built in camera isn't a requirement for my cell phone. All I need a cell phone for is make and receive phone calls. It's not like I send pictures or save them on anything. That's just my opinion.

Hi myhllim, Yes it is lol. To set the record straight, I almost never use this function in my phone. But nowadays, all phones come with cameras. If you buy a new phone without camera, you are simply being ripped off lol. So unless you need a phone without camera (e.g. because you work in restricted areas), I would say, go for one with camera. Cheers!

Hello myhllim. I have a cell phone with a built-in camera, but I do not use it often because the mega pixel is not high enough to take a clear picture if it is not a place full of good light. I still prefer to use my digital camera, which offers me a very quality for pictures.

For me I would still prefer having a camera phone. I now have a mobile phone with camera. I just discovered lately that I like photography. Thanks for my phone. Ever since I bought my new phone, I have always been taking pictures. I'm thankful the images are clear though it is only a 1.3-megapixel phone camera.

A camera is not a requirement for my cell phone although mine has one. I wish they would go back to just a phone without all the amenities they have. It might keep some people out of trouble. There is too much sexting with these cameras now, getting teenagers into trouble. And the texting is also getting people in trouble. What happened to just talking on a phone? I don't need all these things myself. I rarely ever take a picture with my camera because I don't have the means of getting it off on to my computer. I had rather use a good camera to make my pictures.

I like that feature as well, but then I have someone at home I can send photos whenever I want. I am ok without, but I will love my next cell to have a camera.

Yeah, I agree with you, built-in camera is now a requirement for my cellphone, coz anytime I have to use the camera. And most of the time, I'm just using a small bag or no bag at all, so I can't bring along any other device aside from the cellphone.

I know! It's become a given to have a camera on your cell phone! I don't need one but for the quality phone I want they all come with it. Now, even to have one isn't considered nice unless it's a certain amount of megapixels. I think we are so spoiled haha but oh well, it is very convenient and good to have when you wish you had brought your camera.

i have a very basic, regular cell phone. i do not need a camera on my phone. i think it has gotten ridiculous all the gadgets people carry around and "rely" on. i see people who live in very poor areas yet they have an expensive cell phone with all the bells and whistles. that makes no sense to me. that is part of what is wrong with society at large. we overspend on things that are just not necessary and then cry poor mouth because we do not have food etc. if i need to take a picture i will get my camera out.

Yes to me. Though handphones are used for calls, its really useful if you have built in cameras. There are so many incidents where this camera had helped me to capture a pic. You can not not carry your camera everywhere..its not handy also. Instead this is better alternative though you can not compare this to high end cameras!

Maybe for others,it is yes,it is important for them to have a handphone with built in camera. But for me,No,it is inessential for me.If I want to take pictures,I will take my digital camera with me.And the pixel is very good.In my opinion, handphone is just phone, not others. Moreover,if there are too many attached functions, the quality of handphone will be not good.

Right on, Handphone does comes in different size and shape but they have the same function to connect people and also comes with extra features. Having a camera does make mobile phone stand out from a crowd as it has become a need for everyone. Some times we cant say when we will need a camera's but it would be fun if it's there at the moment. Having one makes us more closer to present and past.
