we lost our friend yesterday.............r.i.p. blue

what a sad loss.our puppy got sick thursday night so friday morning we took him to the hospital and we got the call yesterday that he didn't make it.why didn't they call and tell me he had gotten worse.nobody answered when i called and i figured i was overreacting like everyone said.they all told me don't worry some one would have called if he were getting worse.he was scared and alone .i wish i just kept him home and nursed him myself.at least he would have been home where he was loved. he was my baby and i miss him. he cried for me when it rained,he cried for me to pick him up when we walked cuz he would still get scared,even when i would just go upstairs to throw a load in. i sure do miss him. in loving memory of you blue, i love and miss you ....mommy

I am so sorry for your loss.. I know how hard it is to lose your dog. I had to put mine down several years ago and it was just as bad as losing your own child.. They become a part of the family and you get attached.. Again I am sorry that he wasnt home with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that it is hard to loss a pet as they are a part of your family. I do think that the vet should have called you to keep you informed of any change in his condition. And to not have any answer when you called is unexceptable. If I call my vet even during off hours there is an emergency service and the vet will meet with you at any time day or night as needed. Just like any other doctors office would. Again, I am sorry for your loss.
