Do you need to be loved, for you to love?

I know some people would only love another person if they are sure that other person loves him/her back. I actually believe in one-sided love. Yes, it may sound pathetic to some people, but for the others out there it's not! The truth is, even some of the happiest couples on earth started out in a one-sided love affair. I think in the end, that person who doesn't reciprocate will learn to return the love back.
How about you?
Do you need to be loved just so you can love too?

for me yes. because when i love i am merely like a mirror. i only give what i get. i don't give love too much. so that when the time comes. theres still enough left for me. if the guy do not give much attention, i do the same way so that it will just be fair for us. besides, it is a give and take relationship. i give love so that i could be loved too and vice versa. anyway happy mylotting!

When I start to care about someone I care about him and fall for him, nothing can stop me from loving someone, BUT if I don't feel loved it gets hard for me to show that I love him. It gets hard to express how I feel because I won't feel that he reciprocates.
