Have you ever heard of being a super taster and thought maybe you were one?

For years I couldn't figure out why so many foods that appealed to millions of people, such as carrots and green beans, tasted so nasty to me. Then I read an article about people who are super tasters, and I got to thinking maybe I fall into that category. After all, it would explain my dislike of so many foods.
Do any of you have similar problems? I've only met one young man who seems to have a problem similar to mine, but the article said that lots of people have it. What about you? Please share your experiences with me.

I have never heard of having Food dislikes like this being considered a Super Taster, but if this is how it is related too, then there are a lot of people I know out there who are. There are certain foods I cannot fathom eating no matter how they are cooked, so in a lot of ways I would say that I am one too.

The answer to that question could be tied to a number of things. Perhaps you have some sort of archaic memory association made with a trait, that is similar to what them vegetables taste like... maybe, you've just been overinundated with too much sugar, fats, salts--the staples of modern western diet, certainly, the more you tell yourself that something is nasty the more it will be nasty.
