I have had some trouble keeping my composure in difficult situations lately. Lately, wherever someone yells at me, I get really mad. I don't let me anger out but it bugs me on the inside a lot. Does anyone have any tips that will allow me to release my anger in a healthy way?

Well....I have almost your same situation. The difference is thst I yell a lot. I get so angry that my blood pressure goes up a lot. I went to a shrink and he gave me a medication. It is called Symbalta and is helping a bit.

JUst LOL Laugh At Loud. It is the great way of releasing anger. You can release anger easily by doing this type of activity.

I agree that sports can be a good way. Some people like punching a pillow or something to more physically focus the energy on something. Yoga can be good for relaxation, but I am unsure if it also gets the anger out of you. I can see why it could but I personally have never used it in that fashion. I hope you will find a healthy way that suits you and will help you handle your anger. Good luck!

You may also do boxing, by punching the punch bag you release
your anger without hurting anyone, you may also find a place
where there are no people and shout out all your anger
so that you can't hurt anyone.

I have been in situations like this all the time. There are several ways you can release the anger you have inside. You can walk away at first just to think about it. Then, confront the person that has upset you so much. Or if that situation doesn't work cause it's due to a family that just doesn't understand. The you can go to the gym, walking on the treadmill it a great thing. But bring you ipod or something. So you won't think about your worries it relieves alot of stress. Good luck on your journey of relaxation.

Do yoga which will be fine for your body as well as mind. If you not want to do yoga then just try to listen good music, it will surely help you out from your anger.

well i guess the first idea would be to pick a healthy hobby like running or basketball and if your really aggressive maybe football. But if you just want a relaxing anger management tool you could take up other things like music and graphic design/art. Thats what you usually calms me down, just playing my guitar
