UCLA has a great medical program, so you shouldnt look it over and think that Harvard has a big name means its a better school. to be an anesthesiologist, you will require a minimum of 4 years in college for BA, 4 years of medical school, 1 year of internship, and 3 years of residency. residency is basically you practicing medicine under supervision i am not sure about the cost of medical school, but you can probably start working part-time after undergraduate school to help pay for your medical schooling. goodluck ;-)
