what should a girlfriend of the relative of someone with cancer SHOULD DO?

my boyfriend's brother was diagnosed to have medullablastoma and we are still waiting for the findings on what stage he is now.. taking care of sick patient gets so tiring sometimes coz every now and then he has to undergo different laboratory test.. and my boyfriend have to follow up everything. this situation makes my bf to have lesser time for us. i know i need to support him and be a pilar of strength for him but i also get tired of our situation.. i really miss bonding with him. we only now go out every weekends unlike before that almost everyday were together. what should i do now? any advise will help..

Having a brother with cancer is terrible. And a medulloblastoma is an ugly type of cancer. This is the moment to think how much you love your bf and what are you caspable of doing for him under the circumstances. If you find you can´t, it will be better for you to leave him in the long term. If you can support him and manage not to be selfish, your bonding will be more meaningful even if you spend together little time.
