I am going to have to disagree. If I was to ask for what I deserve I might get it, and it would be horrible. I am after all human. But instead I ask for His grace. Because grace is what you get that you do not diserve, and I ask for His will, because mine would be to hit the lotery and God knows that I would just blow the money and so if His will be done then it is a good day.

I don't quit agree with your statement. God tells us in His Holy Word that if we delight ourselves in Him, He will give us the desires of our heart. God puts His desires in us and God's desires are unfathomable. His desires are unlimited. What we deserve have limits.

I think GOd always gives us more than we deserve, after all He gave His son to die for us!! I don't think it is wrong to ask for your desires as long as they are within His will! Sometimes the answer may not be what we WANT, but it will be what is for the best and in His plan for us.
