Cherry Blossoms Festivities, Washington DC

Who had been to one? Been going to the festivities for two years in a row with friends. We just enjoyed looking at those "pinkish" white blossoms around the Tidal Basin. It just makes the nation's capital look so beautiful and joyful. This year, festivities start this weekend and we plan to be there. :)

Hubby & I went to see the Cherry Blossoms Festival way back 2006 and 2007 when we still live in Herndon, Virginia. It was just 30 minutes drive away from DC. I love the cherry blossoms. The pinkish blossoms are just so lovely & calming to look at. There are lotsa people and there are even concerts, so yeah t'was fun! BUt we live in Michigan now and its sad that we cant go this year =(
