Does anyone know any good diets that really work without having to sacrifice too much of your normal life? I had 2 children & after my second child i have not lost the baby weight. I walk & go to the gym, but i still am not losing the weight. Any suggestions?

You know there has been a couple of discussions on here about this sort of thing where the best diet is logic...and that is to drink a couple of glasses of water before a meal and do not drink during the meal especially cold drinks..then after the meal have a hot cup of tea...the water before the meal stops one from eating so much and the hot drink after the meal flushes the fats through the system where cold drinks solidfies the fats..sounds logical to me..

I wanted to see what other people were going to say. Weight is always an issuer for me. it is something that I am always working on and if I find the key to something sucessful I would be doing it. For me, I try to watch carbohydrates because that seems to be the easiet thing for me to do.

The 6 week diet is good in just teaching you how to eat for your body type. Dr. Weil's 8 weeks to Optimun health is also a good starting point. I don't believe in "crash diets". I believe in eating right, and getting enough sleep and exercise. I think that's your best bet.
You could also start doing isometric training in which you use your own body weight to exercise. It's the type of training Bruce Lee speaks about. Anything that your kids can do with you is a good idea in that they will have fun too. I belly dance and do yoga, as well as martial arts. All three my kids can have fun with too.

Eat oatmeals or any other fiber-rich foods. Drink lots of water and juices. Take L-carnitine supplements. L-carnitine is said to play a significant role in losing weight. It can also protect you from diseases like diabetes and liver disorders.

I think the one that has to do with eating healthy works better than most in my opinion. I heard acai berry is also helpful when dieting. Also it is important to exersice. Do these and you should lose weight. I recommend Jessica Alba's 3-2-1 LOSE THE BABY BULGE diet.
