For awhile at work, I would go around and ask my co-worker what I called, "My Question Of The Day". It could be about anything, something to do with work, life in general, or what their favorite color is. I haven't done one of these questions in a couple weeks and one of my co-workers said that he enjoyed my question of the day because it made for interesting conversation and made the day go by faster. So, today, I opened up "My Question Of The Day" again. Today's question was, "If you could describe me in one word, what would it be"?
I got a whole lot of good responses and a few that I thought really summed up who I am. Here are a few of the answers I received...
Independent - I thought this really hit the nail on the head!
Ambitious - Yes, when I put my mind to something I can and will do it.
Hot - Well, I don't really think that I'm HOT, but I am starting to realize how beautiful I really am.
Energetic - I can be when I want to be anyway.
Over-achiever - I do tend to expect a whole lot of myself at times.
Many people pleaded the fifth on me too. I wouldn't know why. LOL
Have you ever tried doing something like this before and asked people random questions? It really is a whole lot of fun to hear what people say about things.

well i must say singlemommy you are pretty confident. There are not a lot of people that will ask other folks that kind of a question. I am sure you feel comfortable with who you asked but you must have strong character (you can add that one to your list). P.S. The person that thought you were hot sounds like they are crushing on you.

The one who said I was "hot" is old enough to be my father and almost old enough to be my grandfather. LOL

Actually we do....we play trival pursuit when possible..someone comes up with a question and we all get a chance to answer it....who ever answers it right gets to ask the next question...and it's fun to see everyone trying to figure out the answers! We have on girl that works with me that can answer any question about country music that you could think of! It is great fun!

I haven't tried anything like that but it sounds like a great idea. It would make work fun and give people something to look forward to. Maybe others could come up with a question as well. Maybe you could designate a day for different people to bring their question. Great idea. Thanks for sharing....

Yes, and it actually is a great idea. It seems once I ask a question, whomever I ask always asks another question back as well, so it really is good conversation.

yes I have done that before but it is hard to ask that particular question here because we do not know each other that well. For you I would say resourceful, and I say that because you are finding ways of making money both at your day job and online.

Thank you! Yes, I am changing. I hope everyone around me see it too. I just hope I'm changing for the better! I feel that I am and whether anyone else likes the new me, I don't care because I LOVE the new me. I'm working on getting a new body, a new mind, a new attitude, and a new outlook on life. It's great! Thanks again!

Sounds like a fun thing to do on the job! We didn't do it at work but we had an email that was getting passed on; it had a long list of questions such as 'where are you right now?’ And 'what are you not wearing right now?' The trick was that all questions had to be answered by only one word and because it was such a long list, it got a little tricky but it was fun to do it, pass it on and wait to receive it back once your friends completed it. You can learn a lot about people with games like that!

Thats a good idea, gives your co-workers something to think about. The only thing I've done, is forwarded an email to people I know, you know the ones that have questions about yourself that you have to answer, I did one that was questions about myself, and I had to see who all really knew me, it was interesting reading the answers I got back, some people do really know me..haha.

I like this kind of activity too. On car trips, my sister likes to play a "what would you do/where would you go" game, and she's gotten me hooked! For instance, she'll ask, "If you had to pick a location to go on a trip a) by yourself, b) as a couple, or c) in a group of friends, where would those 3 places be and why?" It's really interesting to hear what people think is a good trip to take by themselves, with a loved one, or with friends. From this question (or one like it), a ton of others stem off, and it makes for great conversation!

Word of the day is also fun to play at work, especally when you have to get the most obscure things into conversations with customers at work. They always end up with a confused look on their faces when you ask 'How may I facilitate your requirements today'
