Well right now I am thinking of yesterdays! Going to Binondo having lunch or dinner wit my Mother. God those days having yangchow, Pancit Canton, Patatim, their siopao, and the dimsum. Love it and won't forget it in my whole life! Have a nice day to all of you!

I can't say I have a favorite lol. I like all of the dishes, though I tend to go easy on anything spicy. But, if I have to choose probably something simple like Miso butter pork noodles, or just miso soup with cabbage. Though, as I said, I like so much lol.

Miso butter pork noodles is a recipe I learned from the show Cooking with Ming, who is Chinese. He is the leader in the bringing together of Eastern and Western cooking. You'll find a great many dishes cross over betweeen Asian cultures, though each with their own little twist. Though, Japan does boast of making everything better.
I do love Hunan dishes as well, if that's more what you are looking for. Some of the "Typical" dishes served in American Chinese buffets are designed for the Western ideal of Chinese food. I actually know of several that serve "sushi" which is a very traditional Japanese dish.
