I often lend someone to dinner or shopping, but they are used to forgeting to repay. and I will not ask them to return owing to shame. Do you have the same experience?

Hello mascotmengm! We are the same. If someone will borrow some money from me, I am ashame to ask them to pay me. I want that the one who borrowed to me will pay it by themselves because I never ask them to borrow money from me. I have some friends who are like that and even siblings..hehhee..and if they forget to pay me, then I won't lend them anymore next time..

Hi mascotmengm! I feel the same way too before. However, over the years I have learned how to ask people to pay me what they owe me. I usually let the time pass by for awhile and until I think that I have given them much time, I will ask for my money back. It seems that if you won't remind them, they wouldn't bother to return the money that they owe you and that is really annoying. Take care and blessings to you! lovelots..faith

Well, I'm telling you, you're not alone, I'm prone to this as well. Some friends tend to become abusive and see me as a push-over that they don't pay me back. And yes, instead of getting ashamed of what they've done,t he tables are turned and it's me who gets embarrassed to ask them of the payments instead of them getting ashamed of not paying. Sigh.. people can be funny at times.
