Yes, I do think that it can help to improve your english. It is difficult to learn a language if you do not have the opportunity to use it, so the practice that you get by reading and posting on this site should be quite helpful to you.

I think it can help! But only in writing and reading of course. What it does do is it keeps you in touch with a more modern and upp-to-date version of the laguages than they usually teach at school, with expressions and so on. But the danger is of course that you start thinking that at the other posts are being made in correct english, which is very wrong...

I kinda agree. My daughter is studying French and if she had something like this, I am sure it would help her be more fluent. But I does not mean that she would be able to pronounce it better. She would just be able to read and write it better.
