I have seen quite a few horror movies but not all of them scare me. I found The Exorcist quite scary probably because I believe in things like Ouija boards, etc. and I also found The Grudge quite scary as well. What are the scariest movies you have seen and why do they scare you so much?

Hmm, Asian horror movie is indeed scary. I think The Grudge (Japanese original called Ju-On) is great but a bit complicated. The Thai Shutter is also scary. Some Indonesian films are scary too such as POCONG.
Hollywood films are not that scary but kind of surprising and shocking. The Messenger is a good one or you may try Mirror.

i believe asians really do great horror films hence they tend to do a version of the ring, the grudge, etc in america.. but for me i really loved the exorcist, the exorcism of emily rose, and im itching to watch unborn.. i also love saw series which i think would fall under suspense or something.. hehe :)
