WHAT IS THE Purpose of your computer?

my computer is of most importance 4 me ,this is the only medium through which i can chat to my friend.also i play a lot of games on it .ya and it gives me pleasure to some extent. i also use it for earning money and handling my business. so u see without my computer im nothing because 5 hrs in a day i spend sitting on my computer.

Hello Mhayfie, nice topic. I do have a lot of use for my computer. As most of Mylotters here, they are everything to start with entertainment, education, communication and recreation. Hubby and I use our computer for connecting with family and friends abroad. We also use our computer for watching movies and for playing games. Another use of our computer is that we can get ebooks for education and have more information about certain things we need. I also browse the internet for recipes in cooking and much more, i can view it how they cook and prepare a certain food. We also use our computer for paying bills online and checking our account as well. There is more advantages of using our computer specially if it is connected on the internet. Happy Mylotting!

i used my computer for work but these day's it's the center of my house and i connected everything to it (multiple keyboards,mouse,trackball,coffe machine 3 tv's and so on) it's more a way to pass time i suppose if i donwload a movie i can enjoy it not only on my pc but on every tv in the house same goes for gaming,making money and so on, it does bring happiness but so does a donut;)

Hello, I use my computer for many things. Firstly I use my computer for mainly surfing the Internet everyday. To tell you the truth, I actually surf the Internet every single day, this year I probably haven't turned on my computer for only about 3 days out of the whole year, which I find pretty exciting lol. Secondly I use my computer for writing and doing my assignments. At school, when we always need to do an assignment we always use a computer. I remember in the olden days, when we would always do an assignment on paper, it used to take so long. Nowadays we simply turn on the computer and start typing away at our assignment. Thirdly, I use my computer to play games. I don't know what a computer would be if we couldn't play games on them. Think of it, if we were to finish an assignment, how else would we relax by not playing games? We couldn't really relax, except say if we would watch some television. Happy MyLotting!

when im in college, computer help me a lot in my study such as doing my reports, researches and other school activities. but when i graduated from college, i used it to play, surf the net, play and surf the net again, hehehhe. but now, im using it for my office work and since i have kids already, i use it for their school requirements such as homeworks, etc.

My 'puter' is all of the above for me. I use it to download things, keep in touch with family and friends as well as earn $ on sites like this. I don't know how I could function without it. It went down a little while ago, and I just felt lost.

I have a computer mainly for my personal enjoyment, but I also use it to bring in income. I spend most of the time on the computer playing around on the internet, but sometimes I use it to photoshop pictures if someone has hired me to take photos or writing articles for Associated Content to help earn an extra little bit of passive income.

The purpose of my computer is to earn extra money.I also use it for entertainment purposes.I use it download music and listen to them.I also use it to watch movies.I also use it to play online mulitplayer games when i feel bored.I also use it to chat and send emails to my friends and relatives.

This is a great question and topic. I think it has been an addictive habit which has become the fabric of home and work life. Bill Gates founded MS saying a computer on every desktop. I think it has become the 2nd most used device then the TV in most houses.

For me, computer is one of the best inventions man ever made. I spend almost more than 9 hours everyday in front of my desktop and I can say that my computer is a really big part of my life. It definitely gives me happiness, but not the long term one. Of course, watching your favorite shows and reading ebooks are fun but there will be a time when you'll feel lonely. But then again, I also feel lonely when I get separated with my computer for more than 1 day. I use my computer for entertainment,work,information center and medium of communication.
