Loosen Hope

I have a friend he is loosen his hope to live.. he says
I feel lonely and got no hope, I am tired of my life. Can anybody has an idea to help me, to encourage me. or something else that can make my life brightly.
Please help him.. Each words that I have said to him is worthless.
