My father-in-law has passed through heaven's gates

He was diagnosed with pancreas cancer 3mo. ago and died in his sleep early Sunday morning while holding his wife's and daughter's hands. Just glad he's finally free of the pain he was in and is now with his son up there. We will all miss him and his quirky sense of humor. Love you and rest in peace, dad.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is so sad when we loose the people we love. I would like to say a special prayer for him, can you tell me his name?

Thank you tons, Howard. His name is James (Jim) but he was always 'Dad' to everyone, even his friends.

im so sorry for your loss blackbriar!
you definitely have a great and positive way of looking at things which is the best way to do it.
i thought the same way when my grandfather passed away years ago. no more suffering and he was with his loved ones at the end, and that in itself is beautiful!
